Silk-Printed Glass
KIAS Silk-Printed Glass is a kind of glass screen printing process, decorative printing on the glass surface and then a kind of decorative glass with high temperature firing.
Glass screen printing is the use of screen printing plate, using glass glaze and decorative printing on glass products. Glass glaze, also known as glass ink and glass printing material, it is a paste printing material made of coloring material and bonding material. Coloring material is composed of inorganic pigment, low melting point flux (lead glass powder).Bonding material is commonly known as suet in the glass screen printing industry. After printing, the glass products should be fired in the furnace at 520~600℃, so that the glaze printed on the surface of the glass can be consolidated on the glass and form colorful decorative patterns. If the silk screen printing and other processing methods used, will get more ideal results. For example, polishing, engraving, etching and other methods are used to process the glass surface before or after printing, which can double improve the printing effect.
